Tokyo Revengers Manga Chapter 271 - 273 : The Origin of Takemichi's Time-Leaping Journey !!

Shinichiro and Wakasa found the homeless man under a bridge. Shinichiro demanded to learn time-leaping, but the man mocked him and told him to kill him to obtain the power, as he had done. Shinichiro killed the man with a PVC pipe but did not time-leap.

The next day, Haruchiyo found Shinichiro about to jump off a bridge, wanting to change the past. As Shinichiro hit the water, he woke up on July 30, 1999, with a young Mikey. Realizing he had time-leaped, Shinichiro embraced Mikey and later taught him to ride a motorcycle.

Relieved that Mikey was safe, Shinichiro returned home to find his family well. However, he discovered Mikey had injured Haruchiyo. Mikey apologized, and Haruchiyo forgave him after a talk with Shinichiro.

Shinichiro then returned to 2003, meeting an older Mikey, and rejoiced at successfully changing Mikey's fate. Haruchiyo confronted Shinichiro about having dual memories of Shinichiro's funeral and current life. Shinichiro confessed his time-leaping ability.

Later, Shinichiro intervened when a young Takemichi was beaten by middle schoolers. Inspired by Shinichiro, Takemichi asked how to become strong. Shinichiro shook Takemichi's hand, indirectly passing on the time-leaping power.

In the present, Wakasa reveals this story to Takemichi, who realizes that his journey began with his meeting with Shinichiro.
